Emerging Technology Award

Molymem receive prestigious WFI 2021 Emerging Technology Award

We are thrilled to receive the WFI (Waterloo Filtration Institute) 2021 Emerging Product of the Year awarded to Molymem.  The WFI credited our product for the novel use of 2D material membranes for tailored rejection of specific contaminants:

Our co-founder and CSO, Dr. Mark Bissett, commented:

“Molymem are honoured to receive the Award for Emerging Technology of the Year from the Waterloo Filtration Institute (WFI). Our patented technology is still in its infancy, and being recognized by industry experts like this is invaluable to us as a start-up company.”

Mitch McCreary, Director of Marketing, WFI, commented:

“We would like to recognize all of our participants but a special thanks to our Emerging Products Winners: Molymem – University of Manchester (UK) and Tiangong University in conjunction with Tianshengyuan Glass Microfiber Technology Co., LTD for combining high temp synthetic with glass (China).”

We plan, through securing additional investment, to scale and deploy the product technology over the next 2-3 years.
